Black Bass spawn in late spring, therefore their fishing is restricted during those times.
In VT, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass Catch & Release season is Apr 14 2007 – Jun 8 2007
In NH, May 15 to June 15 (Artificial lures & flies only) Catch and release only.
In VT, bass are off limits during the winter months of Dec thru Apr 13th as well.
